HoofPAC is the political action committee that has been formed to end the slaughter of America's horses. Cathleen Doyle, founder of HoofPAC, led the successful Save The Horses campaign in 1998 that made the slaughter of California's horses a felony.

As a non-profit, charitable organization that receives no public funds, the Equine Protection Network, EPN, relies on private donations to help cover the costs involved in caring for the horses in the EPN Sanctuary Program, EPN Education Awareness Programs, Horse Welfare Investigations, managing the EPN and maintaining our extensive website. The EPN has no paid staff, we are an all volunteer organization.Your help and continued support is essential for the EPN to continue its mission.

      Saddle Up For Storytime! fosters a love for reading and a love for our beloved horses. The EPN kicked off the program at Pine Grove Elementary School in Schuylkill County, PA with the donation of 15 books including Black Beauty, All Horses Go to Heaven, Mustang, Wild Spirit of the West, King of the Wind, America's Last Wild Horses ,Cloud, Cloud's Legacy, Wild Horses and others. We strongly believe by teaching our children to love and care about the welfare of our horses we will make a difference in our effort to Save America's Horses! You can participate in the program by sending your donation to the EPN, Literacy Program, P.O. Box 232, Friedensburg, PA, 17933.

The EPN appreciates the generous donation by Syncopated Press of several copies of the childrens books,"Heart, Hoof, & Soul" and " Forelocks, Fetlocks & Horse Tales" to the EPN. Your purchases of these books helps to support the EPN in our efforts to improve the welfare of horses and to end horse slaughter.

    Life Insurance:

    You may designate the Equine Protection Network as the sole beneficiary or one of the beneficiaries of an existing or new life insurance policy. In some cases, a portion of the cash value of the policy and/or your premiums may be deductible as gifts to the EPN. In all cases, you receive estate tax savings.

    Endowments:

    If a donor chooses to establish an endowment fund for a special purpose, or to honor the memory of a loved one, an initial gift of at least $10,000 is required to create the new endowment.

    Wills or Bequests:

    You may provide in your will for the Equine Protection Network to receive a specific sum or a percentage of your estate. Your gift in this manner provides your loved ones with estate tax savings.

    Whatever Your Idea:

    The EPN is pleased to accept any form of support you, or your group, would like to give. Groups might choose to hold benefit horse shows, trail rides, bake sales, car washes, walk-a-thons, or other fund raising events. Whatever your idea, we'd love to hear it. Please e-mail the EPN

Corporate Horse Sponsorships

Individual sponsorship does not cover the entire cost of maintaining horses in our program, but it does help to offset the cost. One horse needs five individual sponsors at $50.00 a month to cover the entire cost of caring for one horse.

Each of our horses has an important story to tell, please take the time to visit their pages, and remember your donation ensures these horses a sanctuary for the rest of their lives.

For $600.00 a year or $50 a month you can sponsor a special EPN horse. This is a great option for groups, such as Pony Clubs, 4-H and FFA and retirement communities.
A donation of $4000.00 covers all expenses involved in maintain an EPN Sanctuary Horse for one year and provides a website link to your company's website.
